The session provided a platform to discuss critical climate challenges, policies, and the impact of climate change on Madhya Pradesh and urban centers like Bhopal. Dr. Rajan Katoch, IAS (Retd.), opened the discussion, followed by Rishabh Shrivastava, Founding Partner of TA, who introduced TA’s work in climate research and advocacy.

Extreme Weather in Madhya Pradesh – MP recorded 176 extreme weather days in 2024, leading in India’s climate crisis.
Urban Climate Issues in Bhopal – Discussions on air quality, unsustainable urbanization, resilient infrastructure, and waste management.
Sustainable Solutions – Exploring green planning, water conservation, and innovative climate strategies.
Participants raised thought-provoking questions on climate action, sustainable development, and the need for systemic change. Discussions explored alternative models for economic growth, the science behind extreme weather events, and the role of innovation in climate solutions.
The session concluded with an insightful exchange of ideas, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between policymakers, researchers, and climate advocates to drive meaningful change.
