Highlights of the sustainable development goals report

  • The 2030 Agenda is in grave danger due to cascading and interlinked crises. This has also put the survival of humanity at risk.
  • The confluences of the crisis dominated by COVID-19 are creating spin-off impacts on food, nutrition, health, education, the environment, peace, and security. In turn, this affects the SDG Goals.
  • Years of progress in improving health and education, removing poverty, and providing basic services have been reversed.
  • The report specifies areas that need urgent action to rescue the SDG Goals and their progress.
