MP Youth Policy(2023)

The Madhya Pradesh Youth Policy 2023 is designed to empower young people by improving access to education, employment, and leadership opportunities. It includes a 5% reservation in medical colleges for students from government schools, aiming to increase access to higher education. The policy emphasizes skill development programs to boost employability and entrepreneurship among youth. Through initiatives like Mukhyamantri Janseva Yojana and Udyam Kranti Yojana, it promotes youth engagement in governance and leadership. Shaped by consultations with over 10,000 youth, the policy addresses their aspirations and needs, aiming to integrate them into the state's socio-economic development plans.

MP State Legal Services Authority Action Plan 2024 to 2025

The objective of the action plan is to provide benefits to the backward and deprived people of the society under the schemes of NALSA, SLSA and government, to preserve and promote the environement, making people aware about their legal rights in order to enforce them and also to motivate the masses to perform the fundamental duties. Recognising the special situation of the Scheduled Tribes and their inclusion in the mainstream society, the action plan for the year 2024-25 has been specially focused on the promotion and development of the scheduled tribes.

The Madhya Pradesh Police Vidheyak (2002)

A Bill to reorganize the police in Madhya Pradesh, reorient its responsibility for good governance and dedicated impartial service in protecting human dignity to improve the quality of life through solicitous care for women, children, members, of the minorities, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes, the poor and the physically and mentally challenged persons and equip it to meet the exigencies of urbanization, industrialization and modernization.

Status Report on children in Madhya Pradesh (2012)

The status of children in various aspects in Madhya Pradesh have been presented in this report. These include child education, girls education, sex ratio of children, child health and nutrition, children at work, and crime against against children. The budget of children in MP, which is 52 percent of the total social sector spending is also presented.

MP State Litigation Management Policy (2018)

In consonance with the National Litigation Policy, the MP State Litigation Management Policy, 2018 aims to evolve a comprehensive scheme and mechanism along with effective strategies to bring about desired improvement in the manner litigation is managed and conducted by the state government and to transform the state government into an efficient and model litigant.

Education and skill development

This chapter takes one through the various aspects to evaluate education and skill development including, key schemes and initiatives in higher education, achievements of technical education for 2022 -23 and also draws a roadmap for technical education for 2023-24.

Welfare of Prisoners

The aim is to provide hygeinic conditions and better facility to prisoners. This cahpter presents how the various Jail buildings in state are age old and even the basic amenities are lacking in them, further Jails are over crowded having the accommodation as per old norms and increasing numbers of inmates under trials. These old jails do not have adequate water, sanitation facilities and proper distribution in different categories of prisoner wards. The chapter further informs of the various budgets laid and the work planned under the five year plans.

Urban Shelter and housing for the marginalized in Madhya Pradesh(2021)

The following study aims to aid in the reassessment of Madhya Pradesh’s shelter and housing framework in order to devise strategies for the inclusion of marginal groups and to formulate policies for their access to state housing. The prime focus of the study is the most marginal of groups like the homeless, migrants and marginal informal workers, who constitute more than 30% of the urban population and continue to be excluded from the existing housing policies and schemes due to systemic gaps. The study proposes a frame for inclusionary shelters and housing in Madhya Pradesh. The study also proposed a Household Inclusionary Index (HII) with numerous parameters and indicators. Lastly, the study develops a policy action plan for urban shelters and housing for marginalized in Madhya Pradesh.

Social and Economic Development Madhya Pradesh

This chapter on social and economic development captures initiatives taken by the government of Madhya Pradesh in the field of empowering women, changing the overall environment for the growth and development of children, providing skills, employment and other multi dimenstional opportunities to the youth. As per this chapter, the efforts made my Madhya Pradesh for social and economic development have resulted in better standards of living for the people and has made great progress in terms of sustainable development goals.

Legal Aid

Legal Aid implies giving free legal services to the poor and needy who cannot afford the services of a lawyer for the conduct of a case or a legal proceeding in any court, tribunal or before an authority. Legal Aid is the method adopted to ensure that no one is deprived of professional advice and help because of lack of funds. Therefore, the main object is to provide equal justice be made available to the poor, down trodden and weaker section of society. A member of SC or ST, a victim in trafickking of human beings, a woman, child, mentally ill or otherwise disabled person, a person under circumstances of undeserved want, and a person in custody is entitled to free legal services.

State Action Plan to Protect Children (2018)

The State Plan of Action was developed to strengthen the care and protection of children. Key actions to be taken by different stakeholders are presented in this plan. This includes developing planned composite infrastructure in the four major cities of the state, which is the lead responsibility of the Women and Child Development department. The Department of Home (police) is assigned with the lead responsibitlity of ensuring that all police stations have child friendly spaces. The DWCD has been given the responsibility of running an adolecent empowering programme with particular focus on ending child marriage, and preventing child sexual abuse.
