In 2024, NPCC-HH recorded 48,156 suspected heatstroke cases, yet the most vulnerable—gig workers, daily wage earners, and marginalized communities—remain without protection.

From delivery riders and construction workers to daily wage earners and migrants, many are forced to work in extreme heat without safeguards.

With temperatures rising and lives at risk, when will worker safety become a priority?
