Continuing our special data series, we examine key trends from NFHS-5, shedding light on Madhya Pradesh’s health and social indicators—what they reveal and how they impact local communities. This series is brought to you by our Research Analyst Intern, Homita Ganguly.

In Part 2, we uncover the scale of this crisis, the barriers keeping girls from school, and the urgent need for targeted interventions. Education must go beyond literacy—only then can true empowerment begin.
