TA Explained: Model Code of Conduct

Elections for electing Members of Legislative Assembly are being held in four states (Kerala, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam) and one Union Territory (Puducherry) between March 27 and April 29. These states are under the Model Code of Conduct since the poll dates were announced on 26th February and will remain under it till the completion of the election process.
